In 2006, after a short season of life changing events, Marya reinvented
herself.  She took a seven month hiatus from an otherwise ordinary existence
to go off and live in a small camper in the woods, learning how to survive in the
‘edible forest’, taking up the flute, and finally getting around to her lifelong
dream of writing novels and short stories.

During that time, she also got the opportunity to travel across Canada.  On one
trip she met and fell in love with an extraordinarily talented Elvis Tribute
Artist.  Within a few months Marya had moved her few belongings 2,000
kilometres from Manitoba to Southern Ontario, Canada.

On September 26th, 2012, John and Marya got married at The Little White
Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas!

Marya has continued to spread her wings artistically - in addition to writing,
she accompanies John on stage during his performances, acts as MC and DJ
at various functions, has explored a myriad of art forms including Sculpting,
Kumohimo, Paper Graphics & Quilling, Leather works, Beading, weaving and
lots more.

In May of 2013, Marya, John, and Monte (their Welsh Terrier) embarked on a
new adventure, hitting the road as full time RV'ers, exploring as much of North
America as they could.  They have a little hideaway up in the old mining town
of  Manitouwadge, Ontario, where they can escape to when the RV'er life starts
to close in on them.  Come visit if you dare!  It's North of the TransCanada
Highway, halfway between Wawa and Thunder Bay.

Life is a never ending Adventure!
